The YWCA NorthEastern NY’s 35th Annual Women of Achievement Celebration & Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018. It is always an inspirational night honoring and celebrating women who are doing wonderful things in our community.
The evening begins at 5:30PM with a reception where you can enjoy hors d’oeuvres while bidding on an exciting array of silent auction items. Don’t forget to also participate in the wine pull and grab a raffle ticket for a chance to win over $1000 in cash prizes. Dinner and the program will begin at 6:30 during which we will celebrate, honor, and award an outstanding group of women from our community.

Event feature presentation of African American Booker T. Washington, President of Tuskegee Institute, Alabama and Women’s Activist and Suffragette Sojourner Truth.
Each was person had been born enslaved but after the civil war went on to champion for Education and Social Justice. Both leaders struggle impact our society today.
