Artist & Sculptor

Vince Forte, Jr.

We often forget local science and engineering contributions toward advancing our modern world, significant historical events that happened here, and how beautiful our area is to live and work in. In this one man art show I depict all of this through landscape, portrait, still life, and more. In addition to local subjects, my other paintings are more traditional seascapes and religious themes.

My oil painting style can be called representative. While realistic, it is more painterly than photo realism but tighter than most impressionism.

If you share a love for our area, I hope you will come to see my art and perhaps consider purchasing a unique locally created original for yourself or as a gift. I look forward to meeting you during the artist reception for this show on August 23rd between 5pm – 7pm.

I will also be in a group show at the American Italian Heritage museum also in July and August.

  • Event: Local Highlights: Landscape, Portrait, Still Life and More
  • Location of event: The Living Room Art Gallery, 48 Cemetery Avenue, Menands, NY — (Located in the Historic Saint Agnes Cemetery’s Visitors Center)
  • Date/Time: July and August from 8:30 am to 4 pm
  • Cost: Free
