We start filming at 10 am in THE ADDY THEATRE on Tuesday. A live audience is always welcome and there are plenty of seats. You can meet the guests in person and learn more about their projects or even get involved yourself.

Segment ONE
Friends of the Library – One County One Book

Throughout the month of March, the OCOB committee will present a series of events centered around Between the World and Me, including a book review, a movie festival featuring Black Panther (written by Coates), writers workshops, a readers theater, streaming of a Coates YouTube interview, and book discussions at the Bornt Branch Library and SUNY SCCC.
- Organization: Friends of the Schenectady County Library
- Mission: One County, One Book is a community read initiative that encourages everyone in the county to read the same book. The public nominated books, with the list of 300 titles whittled down to four books. After a two month voting period, Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates was chosen to be the 2019 book.

BABY the Musical at Schuylerville Community Theater

The story of when three loving couples find themselves expecting… and it wasn’t expected.
Baby, the musical from examines how parents-to-be experience the emotional stresses and triumphs, as well as the desperate lows and the comic highs that accompany the anticipation and arrival of a baby.

Irish American Heritage Museum – Irish Soda Bread Competition

Our first of two St. Patrick’s Day Festival, features the 7th Annual Soda Bread Competition. The festival includes performances by the Bethlehem School of Traditional Irish Dance and Three Irish Voices in a special presentation “Ceol Agus Craic: Music and Fun.” There will also be an
Irish Craft Market featuring handmade items from crafters and artisans. The Soda Bread Competition is open to all amateurs and will be judged in two categories: traditional and family recipes.

- Mission: The Irish American Heritage Museum is a jewel of a cultural center in the Capital District, committed to preserving Irish heritage for new generations of Irish and non-Irish Americans. Firmly rooted in its rich history, the non-profit organization brings to life Irish culture and its relevancy in today’s society through public events, education, exhibits, collections, lectures, presentations, genealogy, live performances and more, all related to the Irish-American experience. The museum provides year-round access to the Paul O’Dwyer Library, film screenings, book signings and other special programs. “It’s Your Heritage … Pass It On!”
