She Loves Me at theREP
Maggie Mancinelli Cahill, Artistic director
This information was provided in a press release:
She Loves Me is a Broadway classic, as evinced by its recent New York revival, which garnered six Tony Award nominations. The show, with book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock, makes its Capital Repertory Theatre debut Nov. 24–Dec. 24.
Helmed by theREP’s Producing Artistic Director Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill, She Loves Me is based on the 1937 play by Hungarian writer Miklos Laszlo. And Laszlo was on to something, because his work has also been the basis for the classic 1940 film The Shop Around the Corner, the 1949 Hollywood musical In the Good Old Summertime and the 1998 Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan vehicle You’ve Got Mail.

The Refrigerators, the Cohoes Music Hall, a huge “Dancin” floor and a Dashin’ of Holiday Music, photo-booth, cash bar, and maybe a visit from a very special Mr. & Mrs., all to benefit the WHMCC, what could be better? This is guaranteed to be a memorable evening, so get your tickets early.
