A pre-k to 10th grade independent school in Schenectady which is hosting both a student organized and curated live stream of the TED Women conference from Palm Springs on December 6th (TEDx Brown School Women) and their own TEDx student speaker populated event (TEDx Brown School) on May 18th.
Ever wanted to attend an actual TED conference and see TED talks as they are presented live? Well, on December 6th at Urban Co-Works on Jay Street you can attend a live stream of the TEDWOMEN conference direct from Palm Springs. The students of Brown school will be curating the event. Enjoy woman themed light fare and drinks, watch a live session of the TED Conference and enjoy a spirited Q and A afterwards.

A Christmas Carol is a novella by Charles Dickens, first published in London by Chapman & Hall on 19 December 1843. The novella met with instant success and critical acclaim. Carol tells the story of a bitter old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation into a gentler, kindlier man after visitations by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Yet to Come.

Holiday Food Bazaar!

“The Family Church on the Hill” has more than a century of history rooted in the Capital District in Upstate New York.
Annual Holiday Food Bazaar, featuring delicious Armenian cuisine to warm your heart and belly. Delicious pastries, such as paklava. There will also be vendors to kick-start your holiday shopping.
Additionally, very year, the Women’s Guild chooses a non-profit charity to support through a portion of proceeds. This year’s Charity of Choice is the Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern NY. Representatives from the association will be on hand to answer questions and collect donations.
A table will be presented with many of the items that you will find at the bazaar.
