Changes in 2019 Laws

John A. Musacchio, Esq.

            His mission is to provide legal guidance and representation to individuals and businesses in a variety of areas, including estate planning, Medicaid eligibility, wrongful death, personal injury, corporate matters, employment matters, real estate transactions, and litigation.  During my appearance on the program, I would like to discuss some updates on new laws and legal trends, including new laws involving sexual harassment in the workplace, new laws which may impact access to medical care by Medicaid recipients, and other developments.  I am also happy to discuss any other legal issues or topics that you would like to bring up.

Education Celebration

            Entertainment and food are provided by student musicians and culinary students of the district. Greg Floyd of CBS6 will be the master of ceremonies. The foundation will recognize this fall’s grant recipients and will honor Kathleen Wylie as the Robert Ludwig Teacher of the Year, the Working Group on Girls for their service to students of the Schenectady schools, and Jerry Rosen as the recipient of the Ernie Kahn Distinguished Alumnus/a Award.       

Organization: Schenectady City School District Educational Foundation

Mission: Provide funding for the enhancement of learning opportunities not otherwise available to the students in Schenectady Public Schools. The Schenectady City School District Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides funding to educators for the enhancement of learning opportunities not otherwise available to students in the Schenectady public schools. We do this by awarding grants to teachers who apply for funding for activities and materials for their students. During the 2018-19 school year teachers will receive $45,000 in grants.

            The Friends of Schenectady County Public Library bring back their popular music series, Beat the Snow, again this year. Join us us Sunday afternoons this winter for musical fun for the whole family!

Mission: To promote musical education and entertainment in the community by supporting local musicians and musical groups in a series of free concerts.
