  • Spring/Summer Location –Outside Schenectady Greenmarket – around City Hall from 10 am to 2 pm. Music, food, vendors and more.
  • 44th St. George’s Greek Festival – 107 Clinton St. Schenectady
  • Carrot Festival – Agudat Achim from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Madison VanDenburg performing with the Refrigerators Band. Plenty of food and entertainment.  2117 Union St. (Rt. 7)

Sept 9 (Mon)

  • Stories of Substance Abuse Recover and Family recovery – at Sch’dy County Public Library at 2 pm.

Sept 10 (Tues)

  • Now in our 22nd year! Filming Schenectady-Capital Region TV show in the Addy Theater at Proctors. The filming starts at 10 am and ends at 11 am. Come and meet the fabulous guests in person. Plenty of audience seating.

Sept 11 (Wed) – Patriot’s Day

  • The Aftermath – Reel’s Film Series at the main branch of the Sch’dy Public Library at noon
  • Jazz on the Plaza with Fleur Seude performing from 5:30 to 7:30 pm (Patio at Cornerstone at the Empire State Plaza)
  • Swing Dance Event at the Rivers Event Center with Bryan Brundige & his Piggly Wiggles starts at 6:30 pm – Dance Lesson, Dance, Kingston Based Women’s Troupe Dance Performance and more.

Sept 14 (Sat)

  • Niskayuna Farmers’ Market at the Niskayuna Co-op Market from 8:30 to 11:30 am.
  • Repair Café at the main branch of the Sch’dy Co Public Library from 10 am to 2 pm.  Bring your broken items and let the repair coaches breathe new life into them.
  • Taina Sisili Trio at Jerry Burrell Park – AfroLatin & World Beat – Live music, vendors, activities and family fun  4-9 pm
  • Electric City 3rd Annual Food Truck Festival in the Rivers Resort Hotel Parking Lot from noon to 6 pm. 14 Food trucks. Vote for your FAN favorite.
  • Tenth Annual Fall Harvest Festival in Sharon Springs

Regular guests include Representatives from the Animal Protective Foundation; faculty from the various area institutions of higher learning discussing health and community issues; Representatives from City, County and State agencies; actors and directors from the theREP, Proctors Theatre, Circle Theatre Players at Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, Albany Civic Players, Classic Theater Guild, and many other area theatrical groups; Tax Specialists from the Internal Revenue Service (during tax season); Representatives from Schenectady County Library; area museums including miSci & ESAM and many area non-profit organizations. We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
