  • Pine Bush Invasive Species Awareness at 1 pm – teens and above. Albany Pine Bush on New Karner Road
  • Bombino (Moroccan Trance-blues) at Music Haven at Central Park in Schenectady — starting at 7 pm. Plenty of seating. Food available for purchase. Rain location, Proctors Theatre
  • The Lustre Kings (Rockabilly) performing at Freedom Park in Scotia starting at 7 pm. Bring your lawn chair. Rain or shine.
  • Hellcat Maggie (Celtic) performing at Town of Clifton Park Performing Arts at the Common (Vischer Ferry Road) 7 pm

Jul 9 (Mon)

  • “Invincible” movie. Bites/Camera/Action — 6:30 pm music and games. 7:00 pm short film by YOUTHFX. Feature film at 7:30 pm. Family friendly. Bring lawn chairs. South Pearl St. Albany in front of Times Union Center – Free parking after 5 pm

  • Filming Schenectady Today Show featuring great guests in a theater setting. Join us at 10 am in THE ADDY at Proctors (third floor)
  • Empire Jazz Orchestra in “Encore” Presentation at Music Haven at Central Park in Schenectady. 7 pm. Rain Location, Proctors Theatre.
  • Squeeze Play Accordion Band — Outdoor Concert/Rehearsal at Voorheesville Gazebo from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (Tuesdays through Labor Day)
  • Water Ski Show at Jumpin’ Jacks at 7 pm.

Jul 11 (Wed)

  • Capital District Youth Pipe Band (Scottish) performing at Freedom Park in Scotia starting at 7 pm. Bring your lawn chair. Rain or shine.
  • COCO (2017) at Reels at Noon at the Schenectady County Public Library
  • Meklit performing at Rockin’ on the River at Riverfront Park in Troy from 5 to 8:30 pm
  • Chris Smither (Folk and Blues) Performing at Shepard Park on Canada Street as part of the Lake George Arts Project 7 pm
  • The McKrells performing at Malta Community Center at One Bayberry Dr. from 6-8 pm Bring blanket or chair.

  • Azaam Hameed Quartet – Jazz on Jay (Pedestrian-way) from noon to 1:30 pm. Rain location, Robb Alley in Proctors.
  • Blues Tones – Niskayuna’s Summer Concert Series at 7 pm at Town Hall Gazebo. Bring a picnic and lawn chairs to enjoy these hour long concerts.
  • Hip Hop Night with Big Daddy Kane and others appearing at Alive at Five from 5-8 pm at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch in Albany.
  • Guilderland Town Band Performing at 7:30 pm at Tawasentha Park – bring blanket or lawn chair.
  • The Refrigerators Band performing at Rock the Block at Canal Square at 72 Remsen Street, Cohoes. 6:30 to 8:30 pm – Bring your own lawn chair.
  • New York Players performing at the Crossings Park (Colonie) from 6-8 pm

  • Unforgettable Fire (U2 Tribute) at 6 pm – Live Waterfront Entertainment at the “Harbor Jam” River’s Casino Outdoor Amphitheater
  • Orquesta Akokam (17 pc. Band) performing at Riverlink Park in Downtown Amsterdam – rain or shine 7 pm
  • “Coco” — Annual Woodlawn Park Family Movie Night begins at 8 pm with movie at dusk. Pizza, popcorn & beverages. Bring chairs – rain or shine.
  • Electric City Comic Con from 10am to 4 pm. Cosplay Costume Contest & Exciting Workshops. Main Branch Sch’dy County Public Library.

We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
