The Electric City Chorus is a men’s acapella singing group based in Schenectady. We have been singing in our unique four-part harmony style since 1944. We strive to sing at the highest quality, to entertain, and to experience great fellowship and enjoyment. The Electric City Chorus is a member of the international barbershop organization, The Barbershop Harmony Society.
The chorus rehearses most Tuesdays from 7-9PM at the Schenectady Light Opera Company performance area. We are always looking for male singers to visit and check us out. Experience and reading music are not a prerequisite …. we provide music sheets, a mentor and learning tracks. The entrance is at 418 Liberty Street and there is plenty of free parking across the street.
