Feb 11 (Sun)

  • Beat the Snow Concert — Dolan Brothers – Blues — 2:30 pm at the Sch’dy County Public Library – Liberty St.
  • Schenectady Greenmarket at Proctors (inside) 10 am to 2 pm
  • Coffee with the Sch’dy City Council at the Sch’dy Greenmarket from 10 am to 1 pm.

Feb 12 (Mon)

  • Books Sandwiched In — Noon Book Discussion “Best Science Fiction” led by Rev. William Levering’s favorite summer reading —  McChesney Room at Main Branch of Sch’dy County Public Library
  • Tai-Chi classes every Monday from noon to 1 pm at UAlbany Uptown Campus Center Studio West. Open to the public

Feb 13 (Tues)

  • “Russia’s Foreign Policy” Great Decisions Discussion Series on Foreign Policy Issues starts at the Sch’dy County Main Branch at 9:30 am Runs through March each Tuesday
  • Filming of Schenectady Today Show at Proctors starting at 10 am. Audience Welcome. Completely Different Band Performing

  • Noon Movie “Kingsman – The Golden Circle”” –at Sch’dy County Public Library Main Branch
  • 8th Step Acoustic Blues Jam with Ron Gordon every Second Wed from 7-9 pm (Sept through May) — Fenimore Gallery at Proctors.
  • Free Book – Wear red and stop in the Whitney Book Corner (Union & Liberty) and you will receive one free book. Browse this great book store while you are there – Sponsored by the Friends of the Library

Regular guests include Representatives from the Animal Protective Foundation; faculty from the various area institutions of higher learning discussing health and community issues; Representatives from City, County and State agencies; actors and directors from the theREP, Proctors Theatre, Circle Theatre Players at Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, Albany Civic Players, Classic Theater Guild, and many other area theatrical groups; Tax Specialists from the Internal Revenue Service (during tax season); Representatives from Schenectady County Library; area museums including miSci & ESAM and many area non-profit organizations. We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
