A live audience is always welcome and there are plenty of seats. You can meet the guests in person and learn more about their projects or even get involved yourself.

Inspector General by Classic Theater Guild

            When the corrupt officials in a small Russian town hear that a government inspector is visiting incognito, they scramble to track him down and find out just what it will take to keep him from reporting their misdeeds. It’s a great opportunity for the broke young clerk who’s just passing through!

Friends of Recovery

            The purpose of this 10th annual advocacy day is to educate decision-makers and the general public about addiction recovery.  FOR-NY calls for the end of discrimination that blocks access to addiction treatment, housing, employment, education, and community-based recovery supports.

Segment Four

Learn and Practice Dance Workshop

            Learn three Latin dances from three area dance instructors and then practice with help from USISTD volunteers.  Dances to be covered are Cha Cha, Salsa and Bachata.

The SUPER Moon

Valerie Rapson PhD, Astrophysicist – Outreach Astronomer

            Supermoon: This year, in 2019, the full moon supermoon comes less than 4 hours after the arrival of the March 20th equinox, making this the closest coincidence of the March equinox and full moon since March 20, 2000. Dudley Observatory at miSci will be hosting evening astronomy activities during “Evenings with Dudley Observatory” at miSci, during extended museum hours until 9 PM.

All Dudley Observatory programs and events are developed with this mission in mind.
