            Tina will tell us how she developed her recipe and got started in business. From Tina: “Currently I have my sauce in 26 Mom and Pop stores located throughout the Capital region.  I am in the process of working on getting into the larger stores.  I frequently attend craft fairs in which we get to sample my sauce to the public.  It has become very popular and is loved by everyone that tastes it.”

Schenectady Greenmarket will be hosting its annual Local Harvest Dinner November 2nd at River Stone Manor in Glenville. The evening will include delicious food, music and silent auction. All proceeds will help the market increase its outreach efforts in 2017, connecting our community with the fabulous farmers and producers who make the market great.

          Our staff is committed to providing members and guests with high quality programs and customer service. Included in a membership is the use of the fitness center, over 75 group and water fitness classes each week, lap and family swims, open gym use, adult swim lessons, family art and gym activities, a relaxation center complete with whirlpool, sauna and steam room, and discounts on fitness, social, and enrichment classes and programs.

Haunted Albany

            The ACCVB has been working with various organizations and heritage sites to create a calendar of events to satisfy any Halloween enthusiast.

Many of their other activities:

  • To actively solicit conventions, group tours, and individual travel to the county through retention of a full-time professional staff.
  • To sponsor aggressive programs of work and stimulate activities which will provide for increased economic development and employment in the county through increased conventions and tourism.
  • To provide business leadership and effective coordination of all interested parties in solving problems related to the area visitor industry and in initiating constructive action.
  • To create a broad understanding and appreciation of the great opportunities for development in the convention and tourism industry while promoting the advantages and assets of the community within the area as well as in the state, region and nation.

We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
