Changes in 2019 Laws
John A. Musacchio, Esq.

Education Celebration

Entertainment and food are provided by student musicians and culinary students of the district. Greg Floyd of CBS6 will be the master of ceremonies. The foundation will recognize this fall’s grant recipients and will honor Kathleen Wylie as the Robert Ludwig Teacher of the Year, the Working Group on Girls for their service to students of the Schenectady schools, and Jerry Rosen as the recipient of the Ernie Kahn Distinguished Alumnus/a Award.
Organization: Schenectady City School District Educational Foundation
Mission: Provide funding for the enhancement of learning opportunities not otherwise available to the students in Schenectady Public Schools. The Schenectady City School District Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides funding to educators for the enhancement of learning opportunities not otherwise available to students in the Schenectady public schools. We do this by awarding grants to teachers who apply for funding for activities and materials for their students. During the 2018-19 school year teachers will receive $45,000 in grants.
