  • Fox Trot at 1 pm. (ages 6 and up). Learn about the fox that live in the Pine Bush.  Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center at 195 New Karner Road. Call 518-456-0655 to get on the list.
  • Music Company Orchestra concert at First Reformed Church in Sch’dy (8 N. Church ST). Light Classical music – free will offering to support SiCM Food Program. Bring a canned good

  • The Revolutionary Genius of Plants – Books sandwiched in presentation by the Anita Sanchez at the Sch’dy County Public Library main branch at noon

Oct 22 (Tues)

  • Performance and Talk by Artist in Residence Baseera Khan at the University Art Museum at SUNYA at 1400 Washington Ave Albany. 4:30 pm
  • Filming of Schenectady- Capital Region Today in the ADDY Theater at Proctors. 10-11 am. Meet the on-air Guests in person. Plenty of Audience Seating. Arrive before 10 am.

Oct 23 (Wed)

  • High Life – Reel’s Film Series at the main branch of the Sch’dy Public Library at noon
  • CREATE Schoharie – Meet and Greet at SUNY Cobleskill Grosvenor Art Gallery at 6 pm
  • Hobnobbin’ Gobblins Puppet Show by the Robert Rogers Puppet Co. at the Mont Pleasant Branch of the Sch’dy Public Library at 4 pm.

Oct 24 (Thurs)

  • Interfaith Story Circle “With Our Voice” at Church of St. Vincent DePaul Chapel (900 Madison AV) Albany. Mary Murphy and Barbara Palumbo for stories about RUAH: Breath, Wind, Spirit.

Oct 26 (Sat)

  • Harry Potter Day from 10 am to 4 pm at Sch’dy County Public Library main branch
  • 33rd Annual Niskayuna High School Craft Fair. Over 100 craft booths. 10 am to 3 pm.

Regular guests include Representatives from the Animal Protective Foundation; faculty from the various area institutions of higher learning discussing health and community issues; Representatives from City, County and State agencies; actors and directors from the theREP, Proctors Theatre, Circle Theatre Players at Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, Albany Civic Players, Classic Theater Guild, and many other area theatrical groups; Tax Specialists from the Internal Revenue Service (during tax season); Representatives from Schenectady County Library; area museums including miSci & ESAM and many area non-profit organizations. We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
