  • Tommy Gee Quartet performing at the Town of Rotterdam Summer 2019 Summer Concerts at the Rotterdam Senior Center (2639 Hamburg St) 7 pm (also sponsored by the Sch’dy Amsterdam Musical Union)

Jun 11 (Tues)

  • Schenectady Today In & Around the Capital Region Filming – 10 to 11 am in the ADDY Theatre at Proctors. Great Guests – meet them all in person. Plenty of audience seating

Jun 12 (Wed)

  • “Vice” Reels at Noon at the Sch’dy Public Library main branch.
  • Stories of our Fathers from 7-9 pm – Temple Israel of Albany (600 New Scotland, Albany) – Interfaith Story Circle

Jun 13 (Thurs)

  • Noon Brown Bag Lecture Series: Bare Knuckles and Saratoga Racing: The Remarkable Life of John Morrissey, presented by Brein Bouyea from the National Museum of racing —  at Saratoga Springs public library’s H. Dutcher Community Room  at noon. (49 Henry Street)
  • Golfstrom performing at Jazz On Jay from noon to 1:30 pm. Sch’dy
  • PARADE — 18th Annual Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Community Parade starting at 7 pm – lasts one hour. Opening Ceremonies at Burnt Hills Methodist Church on Saratoga Road.

  • Open House at American-Italian Heritage Cultural Assoc. on Central Ave. 40th Anniversary!  11 am to 2 pm
  • Juneteenth Celebration at Vale Cemetery from 6-8 pm

Jun 15 (Sat)

  • Strawberry Festival on Upper Union street starts at 10 am to 3 pm. (Sch’dy)
  • Duck Derby at the Mohawk Harbor (Sch’dy) from 11 am to 2 pm
  • Juneteenth Celebration at Central Park from 1 to 8 pm

Jun 16 (Sun)

  • Wolf Drummers – community drumming (bring your own drums) 5 to 6:30 pm at The Studio in Greenfield (165 Wilton Rd)

Regular guests include Representatives from the Animal Protective Foundation; faculty from the various area institutions of higher learning discussing health and community issues; Representatives from City, County and State agencies; actors and directors from the theREP, Proctors Theatre, Circle Theatre Players at Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, Albany Civic Players, Classic Theater Guild, and many other area theatrical groups; Tax Specialists from the Internal Revenue Service (during tax season); Representatives from Schenectady County Library; area museums including miSci & ESAM and many area non-profit organizations. We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
