  • Spring/Summer Location — Outside Schenectady Greenmarket – around City Hall from 10 am to 2 pm. Music, food, vendors and more.
  • Neeraj Arya’s Kabir Cafe Indian music performs at Music Haven in Sch’dy Central Park  –– rain location is a Proctors  7 pm
  • Totally Pitchin’ and Electric City Chorus at 7 pm at Freedom Park in Scotia on the Mohawk Ave. Bring lawn chairs.
  • Hair of the Dog performing at the Performing Arts at the Common (14 Clifton Commons)  7 pm – bring lawn chairs

Jul 9 (Tues)

  • “Penguins” Free Kids Movies at the Bow-Tie Cinemas at 10 am
  • Schenectady Today In & Around the Capital Region Filming – 10 to 11 am in the ADDY Theatre at Proctors. Great Guests – meet them all in person. Plenty of audience seating

  • Classic Stones Live – Rolling Stone Tribute with Troy Music Academy Allstars Performing at Rockin’ on the River – Riverfront Park, Downtown Troy from 5-8:30 pm Rain or Shine
  • McKrells (Celtic) performing at Malta Summer Concert Series at Malta Community Center, One Bayberry Drive from 6-8 pm – bring blanket or chair. Concert inside in case of rain.
  • Piggly Wigglies – a swing band playing jazz 7 dance music from the 20s to 40s performing 6 to 8 pm – Riverlink Summer Concert Series at Riverlink Park, Amsterdam.

  • Second Saturday Farmers Market in Niskayuna at Niskayuna Co-0p Parking lot
  • Three Quarter North (bluegrass) at 7 pm at Freedom Park in Scotia on the Mohawk Ave. Bring lawn chairs.
  • Public Presentation with music, dance and local crafts highlighting the cultural heritage of the Mohawk & Schoharie Valleys from 4 to 8 pm in the Duanesburg High School (163 School Drive) Delanson.
  • David Victor (Formerly of Boston) performing at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater starting at 6 pm (near Casino)
  • Color the Canal Part III – Chalk Fest and Art Show at the Rotterdam Schenectady portion of the Bike Path. From 10 am to 2 pm
  • Kids Day with Beat Bugs from Noon to 5:00 pm. at the NY Capitol’s Plaza.
  • Burnt Hills Music Festival at Jenkins Park on Jenkins Road. Starts at noon with 5 bands. Bring a lawn chair.
  • Dark Sarcasm (Pink Floyd Tribute) performing 7 to 9:30 pm – Riverlink Summer Concert Series at Riverlink Park, Amsterdam. Fireworks to follow.

  • Ten Most Wanted performing at the Performing Arts at the Common (14 Clifton Commons)  7 pm – bring lawn chairs
  • Prog Rock Sunday – Alice Frost: Music of YES performing 4 to 8 pm – Riverlink Summer Concert Series at Riverlink Park, Amsterdam.

We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
