  • Boston Marriage at Sch’dy Civic Players – Staged Reading at 2:30 pm
  • Irina Tikhonenko, Rose Huhnsberger & Michael Clements (lovely music) at Beat the Snow Concert Series at 2:30 at the main branch of the Schenectady County Library at 99 Clinton St.
  • Discover the Pine Bush at 1 pm. Suitable for all ages. 195 New Karner Road, Albany

  • Life Flows on in Endless Song reviewed by the author, Robert V. Wells.  Noon Program at Main Branch of Sch’dy County Public Library. (Includes Song and verse.)

Feb 12 (Tues)

  • Red Canna Trio (chamber jazz trio) performing at Troy Music Hall at noon (hall opens at 11 am)
  • Schenectady Today In & Around the Capital Region is filmed at Proctor’s Addy Theatre at 10 am.  Plenty of audience seating.  Meet the on-air guests in person.
  • Community Choice Aggregation – Free Public Information Forum Sch’dy County Public Library, Main Branch. 6 to 7:30 pm. Presentations by Cap. Dist. Regional Planning Commission, NYSERDA and the Cap. Reg. CCA Steering Committee. — Refreshments. (Formation of a Buyer’s Club to purchase Electricity.

  • Free Gentle Yoga Class from 7-8 pm at Niskayuna Town Hall – Board Room. Open to the public and walk-ins are welcome

  • Women Taking Care of Women with Judge Teneka Frost at the Women’s Community Leadership Network at Proctors noon to 1 pm. in Guild room.  All are welcome

Regular guests include Representatives from the Animal Protective Foundation; faculty from the various area institutions of higher learning discussing health and community issues; Representatives from City, County and State agencies; actors and directors from the theREP, Proctors Theatre, Circle Theatre Players at Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, Albany Civic Players, Classic Theater Guild, and many other area theatrical groups; Tax Specialists from the Internal Revenue Service (during tax season); Representatives from Schenectady County Library; area museums including miSci & ESAM and many area non-profit organizations. We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
