  • Schenectady Greenmarket around City Hall – music, food, vendors and more. Fun for the whole family while shopping locally. 10 am to 2 pm — Next week they will be going indoors at Proctors.
  • Tenth Annual Halloween Parade at the Niskayuna Town Hall from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Cider and donuts for the kids. Niskayuna Residents.
  • Curtis@Union Free Concert (violinist) Grace Clifford. At Memorial Chapel at Union College. 3 pm
  • American Brass Quintet performing at 3 pm at First United Methodist Church at 603 State St. Sch’dy
  • Oakroom Artists Reception at the Artists’ Space at the National Bottle Museum in Ballston Spa from 2-4 pm (73 Milton Ave)

  • GE Realty Plot presentation by Chris Leonard. Schenectady’s History at Noon at the Main branch of the Schenectady Public Library on Clinton
  • The Creative Life: Conversation Series at UAlbany. Rakim, legendary rapper. 7 pm Performing Arts Center.

  • Sensory Night Hike at 6:30 pm. (all ages). Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center at 195 New Karner Road. Call 518-456-0655 to get on the list.
  • Filming of Schenectady- Capital Region Today in the ADDY Theater at Proctors. 10-11 am. Meet the on-air Guests in person. Plenty of Audience Seating. Arrive before 10 am.

We also try to highlight local artists and musicians whenever possible.
